Tell it a service and a city — it finds every real business there, works out who's actually behind on reviews compared to their own local competitors, and ranks them so you know exactly who to pitch first.
🧠 Why two steps, two tools. Niche fit is a judgment call — review velocity, ticket size, whether the upsell has room — that's nuance, so it goes to AI. Scoring a market or a lead has to apply the exact same rule to every business, every time, with zero drift — that's mechanical, so it goes to code. Curated judgment → ask Claude. Deterministic, repeatable execution → run the app.
🛑 Step 1 — decide the niche with Claude first. Don't scrape a niche/location willy-nilly. Ask Claude "is [niche] good for reputation marketing?" (or read the reference table below) and agree on the niche before you touch this page. Then come here for Step 2: find the market and pull real leads.
Step 2 — once you have a niche, this decides which market and lead is worth pitching
Niche — reference table, edit as you learn
Review velocity — high customer/job frequency. Recurring service beats a once-every-few-years purchase.
Ticket size — high enough to sustain an ongoing retainer.
Operational complexity — real admin/scheduling load, enough to justify the Grow/Command upsell later.
Strong fits so far: med spa, HVAC, pest control, dental, veterinary, auto repair. Weak: roofing/remodels (great ticket, low velocity), locksmith/junk removal (ticket too low), attorneys/financial advisors (real friction against getting reviews).
Lead score — what this tool actually computes, live
Two benchmarks per market: visibility reality (everyone, chains included — what a searcher sees) and realistic target (chains excluded — what the score is actually computed against).
Volume gap (biggest lever) — how far below the realistic target this business's own review count sits.
Rating gap — room to climb toward 4.5★+ (a caution flag below 2.5★, not an exclusion — may be a real operational problem, not just marketing).
🎯 Bottom line: this tool wants a HIGH benchmark with one business lagging behind it — that gap is the sellable lead. (The opposite business, rank-and-rent, wants the opposite — see niche-city-scorer — never mix the two up.)
